Conventus Polymers, a high-performance engineering thermoplastics distributor, has been named an authorised distributor of EMS-GRIVORY's line of specialty nylons in the United States and Canada.
Conventus Polymers aims to sell the range of EMS-GRIVORY specialty nylons primarily for injection moulded applications across multiple sectors, including healthcare.
The partnership hopes to expand the presence of EMS-GRIVORY specialty nylons in the United States and Canada as a result of Conventus Polymers’ strong relationships with key OEMs. Conventus Polymers will provide all technical marketing, account management, application development, and customer service support.
The agreement covers a broad range of specialty nylon materials including EMS-GRIVORY’s Grilamid TR transparent nylon, Grilamid L nylon 12, Grivory GV partially aromatic nylon, and Grivory HT high-temperature PPA product portfolios. These products are based on amorphous, cycloaliphatic, long-chain: PA 12, PA 1010, PA 612, PA 610, partially aromatic, and PolyPhthalAmide (PPA) nylon chemistries. EMS-GRIVORY's portfolio of specialty nylons expands Conventus Polymers’ high-temperature portfolio which already includes PPSU, PES, PSU, PEEK, PPS.
