The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI), an association for health technology, has unveiled its programme at MEDICA 2023.

The UK’s healthtech trade body will once again be a group of UK companies at the four-day event. The platform will provide a focal point for businesses to demonstrate their expertise, connect with new partners, strengthen trade relationships and together spotlight the capabilities of the UK's healthtech industry to European and international markets.
Bringing together a diverse mix of UK companies, healthcare institutions, and national partners, the flagship ABHI UK Pavilion will allow visitors to witness a range of healthtech products and healthcare services in action.
From world-first product launches to exciting demonstrations, dozens of top UK’s innovators will be showcasing innovations in key areas such as digital health, diagnostics, and surgical care, as well as showcasing the latest ground-breaking solutions to help hospitals cut costs, achieve greater sustainability and empower patients to take better care of their own health.
This year’s exhibitor highlights include:
- GlucoRx, a key supplier of innovative diabetes management solutions within the NHS, will be unveiling their pioneering blood glucose monitoring devices, including the revolutionary GlucoRx BioXensor.
- IMed Consultancy will shed light on the benefits of their UKRP offering for international businesses seeking entry into the UK market. Matt Burton, strategic development director, will be highlighting these opportunities on 14th November at the UK Presentation Theatre, Hall 16.
- Innovia Medical, a UK supplier serving over 70 nations globally, will introduce an array of new product launches across multiple specialties, featuring the DTR Medical Oral Rotating Biopsy Punch and Summit Medical ENT Product Line, now accessible internationally.
- JEB Technologies, a sub-contract manufacturing company, will be showcasing CamPROBE (Cambridge Prostate Biopsy device), a simple and cost-effective solution designed to facilitate transperineal prostate biopsies under local anaesthetic.
- Pennine Healthcare, with over 60 years of experience in medical device manufacturing and product innovation, will be demonstrating their expertise across three core areas: Medical Device Packaging, Kit Assembly, and Contract Manufacturing.

This year will see the return of ABHI’s 'UK Pavilion Presentation Theatre’, providing UK companies with a prestigious platform to showcase their technologies to an international audience. The dedicated space will run for the duration of the four-day event, providing exhibiting UK companies with expanded opportunities for partnerships at MEDICA.
MEDICA 2023 is set to take place from 13-16 November in Düsseldorf, Germany, featuring over 4,500 exhibitors from 66 countries and a diverse array of forums, conferences, and special shows.
