Zygo Corporation, a business unit of AMETEK, will be exhibiting at the Control event 23-26th April 2024, in Stuttgart alongside sister AMETEK companies Taylor Hobson, Spectro, and Solartron.
Zygo
Zygo, with over 50 years of expertise in the precision metrology sector, has consistently aimed to tackle the industry's complex challenges since its foundation. The company is driven by dedicated employees who spearhead the innovation of new solutions, from conception to product launch. Zygo boasts an extensive and highly skilled team of specialists in precision metrology, dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients by continuously expanding the limits of what is achievable.
Peter Kuschnir, European sales manager at Zygo said: “Control 2024 is an important event, with an in-depth focus on cutting edge QA solutions. At the show, members of the Zygo team will be available on booth 1701 in Hall 10 to discuss the company’s non-contact 3D optical metrology solutions, and on show will be two of our market-leading 3D optical profilers, the ZeGage Pro and the NewView 9000. The ZeGage Pro provides non-contact measurement and characterisation of micro- and nano-scale features of many types of surfaces in a benchtop-form, ensuring quality control and process monitoring in your manufacturing environment. It sets the standard for performance, ease of use, flexibility, and precision of benchtop-class industrial non-contact surface profilers.”
Both the ZeGage Pro and the New View 9000 are built on ZYGO's proprietary coherence scanning interferometry (CSI) technology, which the company claims delivers sub-nanometer precision at all magnifications and measures a wider range of surfaces faster and more precisely than other commercially available technologies, thus optimising return on investment. All measurements are non-destructive, rapid, and do not require any sample preparation. Furthermore, the availability of standard accessories for all products expands their capabilities, offering more solutions to address customers' current challenges.
Kuschnir continues: “Flexibility is the hallmark of Zygo’s NewView 9000. It offers exceptional value with applications as varied as flatness, roughness and waviness, thin films, step heights and more. While we are showing the ZeGage Pro alongside the NewView 9000 at Control, Zygo provides a range of optical metrology solutions including laser interferometers and optical profilers.
