During Chinaplas 2019, the organiser is also offering an event titled, 'Medical Plastics Connect' which consists of multiple components; medical plastics forum, medical plastics pop-up kiosk, medical plastics guidebook and medical plastics guided tour.
Medical plastics forum
The forum will include two parts.
The first part will comprise of well-known enterprises from different parts of the production chain coming together to discuss topics.
The companies include: Branson, RJG, Johnson & Johnson, Momentive, PolyOne, Lubrizol, Lehvoss, Cold Jet Dry Ice and others.
Some of the topics to be discussed include: Polymer material medical device sterilisation, revalidation of injection moulding processes using universal setup data, common problems in ultrasonic plastic welding and many more.
The list of speakers and topics is constantly being updated on the event page, and pre-registration for the forum is also now open.
The second part is focussed on the key role that 3D printing could play within the medical plastics sector.
This forum will invite research bodies, universities, medical institutions, and enterprises to discuss topics such as industrial policy orientation, the latest technology developments and overall direction, current and projected situations of the industry, and business model innovation.
Medical plastics pop-up kiosk
This will showcase medical products that are manufactured from advanced medical plastics technologies and materials.
Kiosk visitors will be able to obtain additional product information and exhibitor location instantly by scanning the onsite QR codes.
Medical plastics guided tour
Here, visitors will be led by a dedicated steward to the booths of medical plastics technology suppliers. Visitors will have the chance to meet technical experts who can offer valuable advice on the spot.
Medical plastics guidebook
A guidebook will be uploaded to the official event website for potential visitors to download. This will include medical plastics solution highlights, a list of key providers, feature articles, and more.
As previously reported Chinaplas is returning to Guangzhou, PR China this year from May 21st to May 24th where over 3,500 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to attend. The event will focus on smart manufacturing, innovative materials, and green and circular solutions.
