Medtec China plans to bring together more than 500 companies, including 85 new exhibitors.
Exhibitors
According to a recent industry survey of medtech companies, the overseas supply chains have been affected to varying degrees by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Around 96% of medical device manufacturers surveyed claimed they are now experiencing a surge in demand to find new suppliers. Therefore, Medtec China 2020 will attempt to bring Chinese and international suppliers together for buyers and research and development engineers. Exhibitors will also include specialists for medical materials and precision processing equipment. At this year’s event, the number of automation exhibitors has increased by 25%, and there will be 16 exhibition zones at the event.
What’s trending at the event?
Currently, the sales of orthopaedics and dental products have declined, however, this is considered to be a temporary situation as overall the demand for these products is still thought to be huge. Medtec China has always aimed to offer insights into the market of orthopaedics and dentistry products, and for the first time this year, the show will open designated areas for orthopaedics, dentistry and 3D printing, to provide more supplier resources for manufacturers in these fields.
There will also be a free onsite conference for attendees titled, “Core Components and Technologies Seminar of Orthopaedic and Dental Products.” This conference will run alongside other on-site conferences.
The perfect partner
In order to address any procurement difficulties with buyers and research and development engineers throughout the year, Medtec China has launched its offline match service. This service will aim to provide a global supplier resource matching service for companies with procurement demand. It will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Why should you attend?
Medtec China 2020 boasts nearly 2,000 international resources, and will gather more than 500 technology, equipment and material suppliers from home and abroad to conduct face-to-face exchanges. The show also anticipates nearly 30,000 visitors.
