At the show, the company will showcase its latest innovations, including their new International Surgical Instruments Catalogue and solutions for improving surgical care and promoting sustainability.
The catalogue offers an important resource aimed at supporting the company’s growing network of partners and distributors across Europe. It offers essential tools to effectively promote and sell the company’s extensive product range, helping to strengthen existing relationships and grow its presence in key European markets, including Italy, Spain and Greece.
In addition, the company will showcase its range of sterile-packed Kirschner Wires, widely used in orthopaedic surgery. As one of the few manufacturers offering these wires in a sterile condition, Surgical Holdings helps hospitals enhance safety, while making their processes more efficient by saving time and resources typically spent on sterilising equipment.
Manufactured and sterile-packed in the UK, these wires are available in a variety of sizes, underscoring the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, readily exportable solutions.
Dan Coole, managing director of Surgical Holdings, said: “We are excited to return to MEDICA this year to strengthen our existing partnerships and explore new opportunities, particularly across Europe, where we are focused on expanding our presence. This year, we’re unveiling our new international catalogue – a valuable resource for our distribution partners, helping them to confidently promote our instruments in their local markets. We’ll also be showcasing our sterile Kirschner wires and instrument sets, including our custom-manufactured hip surgery instrumentation, all proudly made at our UK factory.
"We look forward to connecting with new distributors and partners and showcasing how our innovative solutions can meet their needs and help drive improvements in surgical care globally.”
Surgical Holdings is also renowned for its extensive range of reusable surgical instruments, drawing on a heritage of specialist manufacturing that dates back to the early 1900s. The company continues to leverage its expertise to deliver precision-engineered products designed to meet the unique needs of healthcare providers worldwide.
In line with their commitment to sustainability, Surgical Holdings will also feature their advanced repair services for surgical instruments and devices, including rigid endoscopes and orthopaedic power tools. This service, which restores equipment to ‘as new’ condition, helps hospitals reduce both their environmental impact and operational costs.
All repairs are carried out at Surgical Holdings’ state-of-the-art workshop facility based in Southend in the UK by a team of highly skilled and experienced technicians.
MEDICA 2024 is taking place from 11 – 14 November 2024 and throughout the show, Surgical Holdings will be located at the UK Pavilion - Hall 15 / A24-6.
