On 13-14th March, WITTMANN Technology Spain opened its new showroom in Ibi (near Alicante). The company was able to welcome 65 visitors for the official opening ceremony.

The new showroom of WITTMANN Technology Spain, WITTMANN Levante, was created for even more effective service than before to the market of south-eastern Spain, which accounts for about 30% of the overall Spanish thermoplastics market.
At the opening ceremony of WITTMANN Levante, a servo-hydraulic SmartPrimus 180 machine and an all-electric EcoPower 110 were exhibited, together with the robot models Primus 16 and W921, and numerous auxiliary appliances.
On Wednesday 13th March, WITTMANN Levante was officially opened by Salvador Gracia, managing director of WITTMANN Technology, Spain, and the company’s sales manager, Yoel Vaca. Following the ceremony, a presentation was held by Ignacio Puyuelo, product manager for injection moulding technology at WITTMANN Technology Spain, to inform the visitors about the company’s innovations for increasing the energy efficiency of injection moulding machines. On Thursday, José R. Lerma of Biesterfeld Ibérica took the stage. He spoke about the current challenges and problems facing the plastics injection moulding industry. Demonstrations of the R8 and R9 robot control systems and the Unilog B8X machine control system completed the program.
The international sales managers of WITTMANN Technology and WITTMANN BATTENFELD, Markus Wolfram und Jochen Pernsteiner, made a special point of attending this event, and they greatly appreciate this opportunity to serve the southern Spanish market more effectively.
